Document Management and Data Persistence

The File menu handles the import and preservation of epigraphic data. The editor allows to create and load .ibi and .xml files. To prevent the accidental loss of transcriptions due to abrupt browser tab closure, the environment integrates a protective safeguard: if unsaved changes are present, any attempt to navigate away from the page is intercepted, prompting the user for explicit confirmation.

The Download Source buttons changes depending on the type file currently contained in the editing panel (e.g. an IbiScript source in Figura 1).
